 Ripple is the children's ministry of First Methodist Houston-Westchase. Ripple's vision is loving children, making disciples, and equipping families to raise their children in faith. Bring your children (infants through fifth graders) on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am, and watch them grow, right before your eyes!Jesus said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-4, ESV).  Jesus knew the value of children and wanted others to see that value, as well. In Ripple Children's Ministry, we value all children and look forward to teaching them to be good citizens in the Kingdom of Heaven. In Ripple on Sunday mornings, children learn Bible stories, play games, make crafts and more. The lessons are age-appropriate and applicable. Children leave with activities to do at home that reinforce what they have learned that morning. Ripple further provides children with the chance to understand Bible stories, and then we teach them how to apply those Biblical principles in their lives every day. Visit Ripple on Facebook! Infants - Kindergarten Children in this age group sing, participate in interactive Bible stories, play games, socialize with friends, make crafts, and eat snacks during Ripple. Children are invited to stay for more fun while their parents attend Worship Service from 10:30-11:45 am. First Grade - Fifth Grade During Ripple, elementary children hear relevant Bible stories, interact with each other through games and activities related to the Bible lesson, and build relationships. After Ripple, the children go to the Worship Service with their families.
